1991 A drawing titled Old Inn at the Pier, signed W. Gordon, 1890.
The label on the library's glass slide identifies the building as the Ferry Boat Inn. It was located past the old Blockhouse at the end of Pocra Quay. The harbour side pub was run by Willie Cormack, who also ran a shop in Fittie called Highland Willie's.
Comparing the shape and location of the pub shown here with the Ordnance Survey Aberdeen town plan surveyed 1866-67, particularly the pub's bay windows, suggests this is in fact the Steam Yacht Inn. This inn, which was further up Pocra Quay, east of Pocra Jetty, can be seen on the above town plan on sheet LXXV.12.21. James Cassie
2076 A Portrait of James Cassie, R.S.A., (1819-1879) by James Beattie-Scott. Born at Keithhall, Cassie was the son of James Cassie, a tea merchant, and Catherine, née Dawnie. His movement was impaired after a childhood injury and he subsequently dedicated himself to painting.
Cassie became a student of Highland scenery painter James Giles and settled in Aberdeen. In 1869 he was elected an associate of the Royal Scottish Academy and moved to Edinburgh, where he stayed until his death. Many of his works are kept in the Aberdeen Art Gallery. Walford and Albert E. Bodie
2656 This studio portrait shows Walford Bodie, in highland dress, and his son Albert.
Albert Edward Bodie managed his father's career for a number of years and was himself a Royal Society illusionist. He sadly died aged 25 in 1915, leaving a wife and son.

2763 This photograph shows the offices of Bydand Defence Solicitors at 13 Marischal Street in Aberdeen. Newspaper reports suggest the firm leased these premises in 2017.
Bydand is the motto of the Gordon Highlanders, a regiment of the British Army closely associated with Aberdeen. The Henry Sisters
3006 A fantastic group portrait showing the Henry sisters in Highland dress.
The figure on the near left is most likely a youthful Jeannie Henry (1869-1931) who married Walford Bodie and performed on the stage as Princess Rubie. She appears to have been known as Kitty when she was younger.
It is difficult to say for certain but top and bottom right could be Isabella and Mary Walford Henry respectively.
