Principal John Marshall Lang
A portrait of Principal John Marshall Lang (1834 - 1909). Lang was Church of Scotland minister and principal of Aberdeen University. He was appointed to the latter role on 31st March 1900. Lang died on 2nd May 1909 at the Chanonry Lodge, Old Aberdeen and is buried in the south transept of St Machar's Cathedral.
