This photograph was taken at a BBC Radio Studio on Queen's Road, Aberdeen, on 22nd March 1944.
A cropped version of this photo was used in the Evening Express of 23rd March 1944, page 2. The caption states that Gordon is recording a version of "The Auldest Aiberdonian" to be included in a "Home Flash" about Aberdeen due to be broadcast soon on the General Forces programme.
A digital copy of this photograph, and five others findable on this website, were donated to Aberdeen City Libraries by Loughlin's granddaughter.
