Description
A photograph looking north west towards the bridge that carries the western end of Bedford Road over the railway lines and connects it to Powis Terrace, shown on the left of this image. This photo, likely dating from the 1980s, was taken from the the pedestrian bridge, off Elmbank Terrace, at the western end of Erskine Street. The ornate building partially shown on the far left is 47 Powis Terrace. This railway line is heading north from Waterloo Quay towards the now demolished Kittybrewster Station. The station was located not far to the north of the shown bridge. The bus visible on the bridge is thought to be a no. 25 operated by Aberdeen Corporation Transport.
