This exhibition features photographs by Roddy Millar showcasing aspects of the Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen before, during and after the redevelopment undertaken between 2019 and 2022.

There are 10 composite images in total comparing photographs from the same view at different times. The photographs show some of the elements that have changed and those that have remained the same in the gardens and its surrounds.

Union Terrace Gardens re-opened on 22nd December 2023 following a £23 million refurbishment. The work included improved accessibility, improved lighting, a new play area for children, new pavilions, new artworks, native planting, and redesigned layout, while retaining and restoring historic features.
