Historic Photographs Details
This harbour pub was located at 79-80 Waterloo Quay. It was popular with employees of the nearby shipyards. This photograph likely dates from the 1930s. The name of proprietor, George Whyte, is written on the frontage of the pub and adverts for various drinks and anti-prohibition posters decorate the windows.

To the left of the pub can be seen a newsagent and the entrance to a cement tar and pitch store. On the right can be seen offices of the Aberdeen Steam Navigation Company Limited.
