The Scottish Salmon and White Fish Company
A large advertisement poster for the Scottish Salmon and White Fish Company. As indicated on the poster, the company also went by the abbreviated name of Scotsal.

The poster features illustrations of the different types of location the company caught their fish; on the beach, on rivers and in coastal waters. There is also a map identifying all the company's fishing locations.

Records for the Scottish Salmon and White Fish Company (1919-1989) are held by the Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Archives. Their catalogue entry states that their Aberdeen premises were located were at South Esplanade East, 1920-1991.

A note at the bottom of the poster indicates that it was created by G. & W. Fraser Ltd, a lithography company from Aberdeen. Our copy of the poster at Aberdeen Local Studies is framed and a tag on the rear of the frame suggests it was sold by William Simpson, an original etching merchant, from Aberdeen.
