An Adelphi Real Photograph Series postcard (no. 278) showing the towers of Marischal College on Broad Street. The large one at the back is Mitchell Tower. It was named after Charles Mitchell, an Aberdeen born engineer and shipbuilder.

The photograph, which is broadly looking east, appears to have been taken from high up in a building on Schoolhill.
