Biographical
David Duncan, a celebrated pipe major who taught hundreds of pipers across the north-east has died in an Elgin nursing home. Aberdeen-born Mr Duncan was a founding member of the Bucksburn and District Pipe Band in Aberdeen which was formed in 1947.
