A portrait of Mr. A. Marr (of Messrs. J. & A. Marr). The Marr family were dominant in the building and sale of pianos in Aberdeen. J. & A. Marr had premises at 130 & 134 George Street and later 58 - 60 St Nicholas Street. This portrait is taken from Aberdeen Today, published in 1907 (p. 159).
