A photograph showing a beachside hut, operated by P. Vicca, selling ices, sweets, postcards, toys and various items for enjoying the beach. The Vicca family were, and continued to be, the proprietors of the long-established and much loved Inversnecky Café on the Beach Esplanade. It is understood that at one time the Vicca family operated up to seven booths around Aberdeen Beach. This image likely dates from the 1970s. It comes from a collection of slides donated to Aberdeen City Libraries by Aberdeen City Council's publicity department.
