Duthie Park
Duthie Park was given to the city of Aberdeen in 1881 by Miss Elizabeth Crombie Duthie as she wanted to create a public space in memory of her brother and uncle. Its 44 acres comprised wide open spaces, ponds, fountains, bowling greens and tennis courts, various monuments and sculptures, the Winter Gardens and masses of magnificent flower displays.
