Blaikie's Quay
The image looks northeast onto Victoria Dock from Provost Blaikie's Quay. The steam trawlers Challenge and Vanquisher can be seen prominently in the image. Challenge was built in 1897.

The Waterloo Quay steel sheer legs can be seen on the left in the background. These were commissioned in 1910.

On the right of the image can be seen a movable shed belonging to Wm. Knox & Co., grain merchants, premises of George Gordon & Co., timber merchants, and those of Robert Miller & Sons, wood merchants.
