Virginia Street

Virginia Street, looking west, as seen from Marischal Street's bridge. The former street was originally built and named in the 18th century. Its name reflects the overseas trading of the time.

The street was significantly widened in the 1980s. On the left of this image are a well preserved set of warehouses on Virginia Street and Weigh House Square.
