Historic Photographs Details
A group portrait of the staff from George Washington Wilson's Glenburnie Works. These premises were used from around 1869 to 1876.

Roger Taylor in his 1981 book on the photographer states that Wilson applied a factory like division of labour principle to his photographic business. The process was broken down into a number of stages and each of these was the responsibility of a particular individual or group.
