Union Terrace covered with snow after the great snowstorm of 1908. The statue of Robert Burns on the right of the image is by Bain Smith. It was unveiled to public gaze on the 15th September 1892. The statue depicts Burns in deep contemplation pondering upon the fate of the 'crimson tipped flou'r', the daisy.
