Golden Square

A photograph of Golden Square most likely dating from the early 1950s. The image is taken from near the junction with North Silver Street and looks towards the south east.

The music hall can be seen on the far left and the spire of St. Mary's Cathedral towers over the square on the right. The centre of the square, later turned into carparking, appears to be a grassy area.
